We are called as believers to go beyond our church walls to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbors right next door and all over Shelby County and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost; He came to save us. We have hope because of what He has done. We are now His ambassadors sent out not only to show His love in our actions, but to share His message with our words. We want to create a growing excitement to share His story throughout our town and Commonwealth.
We are serving the needy, protecting the unborn, supporting the transitioning and mentoring the youth in our community. We invite you to partner with us and choose an opportunity that fit’s your spiritual gifts and allows you be the hands and feet of Christ.
HBC has partnered with some great ministries in our area. Each ministry has been vetted and approved by our church. Every organization is Gospel-believing and provides unique services to our community.
Not only do we partner with local ministries, but we partner with ministries in other states as well. We are a church that truly believes in the Great Commission and in Acts 1:8 that Jesus calls us to minister where we are and where He is leading us.
The Global Missions Ministry at HBC has a vision for partnering with missions efforts around the globe that are involved with church-planting movements discipleship efforts and training indigenous leadership among people groups. Currently HBC travels annually to Sao Paulo Brazil to partner with IMB missionaries Scott and Joyce Pittman.
God's Kitchen - 2nd Wednesday of the Month

This year’s VBS theme is Shipwrecked. During the week of July 23rd-27th, we will venture onto an uncharted island where kids survive and thrive. The week will serve as an anchor for kids as they learn the truth that Jesus carries them through life’s storms. We will see how Jesus rescues us when we are lonely, when we worry, when we struggle, when we mess up, and when we feel powerless.
Volunteer and Participant Registration is NOW OPEN! Follow the registration link below to sign up!
